We arrived to a super “welcome pack”. The villa was spotless and had all that was required. The pool ( not heated ) and hot tub were a welcome sight at the end of the day. Montecastelli is stunning and my sketchbook is full of drawings of the town, L’Orto del Prete is a great, friendly restaurant and within walking distance. The private chef, Federico was a fantastic cook and though quite quiet he was very personable and enthusiastic about his cooking. The villa has a very good location in Tuscany, very nearly of all the turistic place (Volterra, San Gimigniano, Siena, Firenze). I recommend 100% this place!

If you’re looking for a small Tuscany villa in a remote location but within walking distance of a restaurant, this is it. Beautiful setting with lovely swimming pool and hot tub. Well maintained and looked after with very thoughtful owners who came to clean the pool every morning very unobtrusively respecting our privacy. They even left cakes and vegetables on our doorstep in the morning!

What a wonderful Villa! We really hate to leave, Gina and Franco have both bear very welcoming. This has made a good holiday even better. Beautiful countryside and scenery. It has been a truely wonderful and relaxing week. Thank you for your kind and warm hospitality. Siena and San Gimignano are shine places to visit. Definitely will be back next year!

This was our first villa holiday and we were all blown away by the property, gardens and surronding area. The owners hospitality made our stay unforgettable. The villas tranquil setting is a piece of heaven on earth. Thanks to Gina and Franco for letting us spend a week in their beautiful property. We would defintely recommend this villa and will return in the future.

A lovely villa with great facilities close to a pretty mountain top village. Montecastelli Pisano has a lovely restaurant which is within reasonable walking distance and does great food (pizza at the weekend). The views from the villa were spectacular and there are lots of walking routes in the region (particularly for viewing some of the local geothermal activity including hots springs and steaming rocks). The region is known for its green energy. The villa was impeccably maintained but best of all was the hospitality of the villa owners who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make sure we sampled some of the local delicacies. We cant thank them enough. What a find!

..that this is a prefect holiday. The landlady was so kind and even brought us things to eat more or less every 3rd day. Quiet and perfectly kept in order to have a beautiful holiday. We will return next year!
